Deus Ex thinks I'm a killer!?

I play the game using only the baton and other non-lethal ways of killing.
I got admiration from Paul for not killing many people...
But after i came back from the "disable the generator" mission, my character(Denton) tells the quartermaster "it was awesome, there was bodies everywhere" etc... And i get scolded for "killing" so many people...
Is it because anna navarre killed a couple of guys before i could stop her?
What should i do...

Something could have triggered the bombs in the subway station. If you have a previous save, go back and investigate.

Well, since you're known as a killer, why not go on killing people. Every single one of those bastards..
Non-lethal run for another replay then?

It doesn't really matter because there is only - as far as I recall - two instances where your non-lethal exploits are ever rewarded, and only in dialogue, not in any physical way.
Non-lethal runs are a personal thing, mostly.

When i first started in SP, i'd shoot at the NSF and run back to where Paul and the Security bot are, so Paul did kill plenty of enemies for me. But yea I guess in the dialogue it reflects how many died rather than who killed them (you or paul or anna etc)

Doesn't that count as a flag you can toggle from legend? Alternatively, can just redo the mission as mentioned before. I recall having same issue once and it might've been the explosives.

IIRC, any corpse will set the flag, yeah. Non lethal in Castle Clinton is actually really hard; Anna will charge in at the first opportunity. Maybe move some of those crates in the way before entering

I think it was possible to somehow fool the entrance rush trigger, probably by entering from alternative route.
