Subliminal messageing is illegal though, isn't it? So we could get TNM done for it :P

The messages are posted elsewhere on the TNM site.

Yep, they put them in all the 'Scary' parts. It always says "Scream" on them, or "Hide", or "Cry", or some kind of basic command that kids of the age that they like it will understand :P . They also have them in the Flinstones. Apparently, if you listen really closely, you can hear weird, but faint noises in the background 1 second before and after when there is laughing in the background, telling you to laugh, and to stop... :? ...

I could easily find subliminal messages, especially rewinded ones. For example; in Tellytubbies theme song, if you reverse it, it goes (for a short while and in a faint but scary voice): "your mom is dead"

lies.

no really, you can find subliminal messaging in almost every song, every video, anything.

'tis why it's called subliminal, it sounds like your hearing it in real life, but really you're not.

They are not weird relative to the story.

Subliminal messaging is purposely done, what you are talking about is your mind attempting to create messages from similar sounds

two different ball games

The reason why its "Subliminal" is because only your sub-concious may register it, while your active brain does not

Off-Topic: Anyone play the Sims? Seems like the production team have a fixation with Llamas, you can get Llama Jerkey from vending machines in the Urbz, and loads of other Llama related things, including hedge decorations, and statues, and all kinds of stuff.

On-Topic:

My brother told me about this from what he learned in his AP Psychology class:

Subliminal messages in movies and the like do nothing. Someone did several studies where they inserted subliminal messages into the movies at a theater (stuff like FEAR, SCARED? and the like) and afterwards asked the moviegoers how they felt. Most of them just said "hungry."

Allan wrote:They also have them in the Flinstones. Apparently, if you listen really closely, you can hear weird, but faint noises in the background 1 second before and after when there is laughing in the background, telling you to laugh, and to stop... :?

Use some common sense, man. That's the guy in the studio telling the people recording the laugh track when to start and stop. No subliminal manipulation there.

Look there, and look for backwards message. You can find it in almost anywhere, believe me, purposely or not purposely done.
